    A VOICE OF MY OWN is an uplifting collection of stories and songs about women authors who found their creative voices despite society’s obstacles.  The StoryVoices ensemble portrays eighteen courageous, talented writers from across the ages.  From the words of Sappho to Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Virginia Woolf and others, the audience comes to understand the struggles and strengths of early women writers. A VOICE OF MY OWN tells a remarkable history and speaks to anyone seeking to express her or his own voice, in any field of endeavor.   Written by Elinor Jones, recommended for ages 16 and older.
